For those who got a new job offer from another company, or moving to a new workplace to start a new career, is still important to consider the following things:
1. Consider realistic expectations of salary.
If this is your first employment contract, then you should already have a picture on the salaries of new graduates for the industry concerned, so that the appropriate proportion of your request.
If the case is that you’re moving the work to start a new career, do not necessarily assume that you are “entitled” to the salary many times over. Return to the main purpose of moving your work, in addition to also consider the condition of the company
2. Note the benefit package offered.
Remember that your salary is just one component of a package provided by the business. Do not hesitate to ask, what other benefits are offered, and where better to compare with that you received in the previous company.
Remember early on that job satisfaction is something more important than how many rupiah you can bring home. It is often forgotten by the first job seekers and those who changed jobs. Whatever the salary and bonus that you receive, if you hate your job, then you will not be happy.
3. Take decisions based on circumstances which “real” and not based on “what if”.
Do not worry about what would happen if all the demands on the road to success for your new job. What’s important, what can you do now.
4. Remember that finding a job is (part of) the overall job itself.
If you’re want to make changes, you need an approach that saw the change as a project work. Plan for everything to run as desired.
